Which youth summer soccer training camp is right for my player?
Coerver Coaching Minnesota has several summer camps for boys and girls of different ages, abilities, commitment levels, and positions. Here is brief summary of these soccer programs and camps to help you decide which best fits your players needs.


Residential Coerver Crush Camps
The Coerver CRUSH Residential Camps. These camps are two of the most competitive residential soccer camps in the Upper Midwest!
St. Olaf College Dates: June 11-15, 2023
NSC Dates: July 24-28, 2023

Full Day Camps
Advanced skill sets and moves are taught, individual skills and small sided games are the key topics. Starting summer of 2023.

Half Day Camps
Day Camp emphasizes soccer skills development, individual skills and 1v1 play. Starting in the summer of 2023.
Day Camps also include Goalie camps, start in the summer of 2023.

Try Out Prep Camps
Try Out Prep Soccer Camps start in the summer of 2023.

Goalie Day Camps
Goalie camps start in the summer of 2023.

Summer Full Day Camps

For Players U7-U17

Our Coerver® Summer Full Day Camps are designed for players who want to improve their skills and game effectiveness. Our aim is to develop confident and creative players while teaching essential social skills such as good sportsmanship and respect, in addition to a good attitude to practice and play. 

Campers receive a progressive series of instruction in Ball Mastery, Receiving and Passing, 1v1 Attacking skills, Speed (including speed of thought), Finishing and Group Play. All this results in improving player’s ball control, 1v1 skills, creativity, speed of play and overall Soccer IQ.

Summer Half Day Camps

For Players U7-U17

The camps focus on teaching the individual skills indispensable for success in soccer. Proper fundamental skills are taught as well as advanced skills that make playing fun and encourage players to practice on their own. Emphasis is placed on individual skill development and basic moves with the goal of developing confidence on the ball. Beginning “move sets” are taught and games are played to practice the moves in a method that starts with no pressure and slowly adds the pressure of time and/or space restrictions. Passive defensive pressure is then added and by the end of the first morning, players are performing moves under full defensive pressure to goal. First touch is a major theme in Ball Mastery sessions. All groups play in our “World Cup” competition with teams they stay with throughout the week. This is a round robin competition of small-sided games. Results are recorded each day and a finals competition is held on the final day. Group champions are recognized at our camp ending award ceremony.

Tryout Prep Camps

For Boys & Girls Ages U7-U17

Camp Features: 
The Tryout Prep Camp is designed to help individuals prepare for their upcoming club and high school tryouts. The camps will focus on improving technical ability in a high repetition, high intensity setting that will challenge the players to effectively perform the skills. It will also focus on tactical decision-making skills in both small-sided and full-sided games that are age appropriate. The camps will be based on the high-effective Coerver Coaching method.

Goalkeeper Summer Camps

For Goalkeepers U10-U17
The camps focus on teaching the individual skills indispensable for success in soccer. This camp will specifically focus on everything goalkeeping. Some of the techniques that will be covered include: pick-ups from various angles and speeds, high catching, punching, tipping, dropping, diving, charging, throwing, footwork, reactions, punting and goal kicks. These techniques are coached through progressive exercises and fun games.

First skills soccer is Coerver® Coaching’s market-leading proposition to parents of beginner players. Some Camps may vary ages. It is more EDUCATIONAL, more EFFECTIVE, and more FUN, than any other introductory soccer program. It builds the essential foundations young players need before they step into organized, competitive team play.

First Skills Soccer is an enrichment program offered through the Worlds Number One Soccer Skills Teaching Method, Coerver Coaching. Our goal is to introduce kids to the most popular sport in the world, soccer. In addition to learning soccer, we will encourage them through individual and teamwork play, teach them strong character skills, healthy eating and lifestyle habits, and many more things!
