Tournament Details
This tournament is a 5v5 futsal tournament for boys and girls with birth years: 2009-2016
Dates: Saturday March 22 & Sunday March 23
- 25 minute games, 3 games guaranteed with potential playoffs and championship game.
Cost per team: $250
Saturday March 22 Schedule:
Boys 2014 & 2013: 12:30pm-3:00pm
Boys 2012 & 2011: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Boys 2010 & 2009: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Sunday March 23 Schedule:
Boys & Girls 2016 & 2015: 8:00-11:00am
Girls 2014 & 2013: 11:00am-2:00pm
Girls 2012 & 2011: 2:00-5:00pm
Girls 2010 & 2009: 5:00-8:00pm
Tournament Rules
March Futsal Madness Rules
- Games will be 25 minutes long; 12 minute halves with a one minute half time.
- All Games will start on time. Please respect the daily schedule.
- The Roster submitted on the day of the first game is the final roster. No additions can be made even for championship game.
- Proof of birth is required when checking in. Player card, TCSL Game Roster, ID or driver’s license, school ID with birth date, birth certificate, etc.
- Soccer flats or tennis shoes may be worn.
- Shin pads are required for all Players.
- No dangerous player equipment (eg. A hard arm cast) will be allowed at the discretion of the referee or tournament director.
- The half/ game is over when the horn blows, the only exception is a penalty kick.
- NO SLIDING ALLOWED.
- No offsides will be enforced.
- No Punting Allowed
- Kick-ins from touchlines (kick-ins are indirect).
- Goalkicks and Corners as per FIFA.
- All Freekicks are indirect except for penalties.
- All other rules use FIFA guidelines.
Player and Coach Conduct:
This tournament is organized for FUN. Great sportsmanship will keep it fun. It’s a GAME – let’s keep it that way.
- Player Cards: Red Cards as per FIFA = game ejection. Said player will be ejected from the game and the team will have to play a player down. The ejected player will also miss the following game.
- Coaches: Coaches who receive a Red Card will be asked to leave the building or the team forfeits the game and will miss the remainder of the tournament.
- Teams are encouraged to clap for each other at the end of the game.
Point System and Tie-Breakers:
- The Ten Point System will be used. 6 for a win; 3 for a tie; 1 for shutout; 1 for every goal up to 3.
- For teams tied on points, the following tie breakers will be in effect: a. Head to Head b. Total Goals scored (up to 3 per game) c. Total Goals conceded d. Coin Toss
- Tied play-off games will have 3 player penalty shoot-out and then sudden death shootout.
- Winning Team will receive Champions T-shirts!
